Before 2007: Life was just as it came by. Never thought about the meaning of life. There were specific answers for every question. Wanted to be an engineer. Did that. Wanted to make some money. Did that. Wanted to achieve status in society. Did that. Wanted to see foreign countries. Did that. Wanted a few more things to happen when suddenly the question came: “Is that it?”.
2007: Life was turbulent. Just thought, thought and thought. Every answer was now a question again. Tried to do too much at the same time. Run, cycle, trek, play the guitar, test the limits in everything. Yet, couldn’t find an answer. Work day and night at office, yet it didn’t satisfy the soul. Nothing was quite enough. The hopeless feeling of becoming yet another ‘nobody’. When the path is not quite right, change the course.
After 2007: Life was to be reclaimed. Understood that just thoughts cannot be one’s aim. They need to be put into action. Only then will the true path be known. Deep inside me, I cried for the way man abused the Earth. There was no point just thinking about it. Had to do something. Started www.sapgreen.com. An idea now became reality. There are a few more thoughts which I am not able to put into words at the moment. One of such thoughts is now taking the form of my company EnLEn. When what you think translates into action, life truly becomes beautiful.
As of 2009 Dec: Sapgreen.com failed. Subsequently, an inverter business also failed. However, the failures seemed to have taught me valuable lessons. The current business of renewable energy power plants seems to be in the right direction. Life has been beautiful in the past 2 years. Educating children, planting trees, networking with people of various backgrounds and learning the trajectory of entrepreneurship; every day has been an adventure.
My Philosophy:
Never stick to the path set by others without thought. Instead Learn by experimentation. It is sometimes painful yet truly rewarding.
Dream. Then, make it a reality. Whether the work you do succeeds or fails doesn’t really matter. The experience of doing it is what matters the most.
